7th Annual World Day of Prayer, September 9, 2010
Be among the thousands of people of all faiths who will join Silent Unity – our international, transdenominational 24/7 prayer ministry— in prayer for the health and well-being of the world as well as one another.

World Day of Prayer gives us a chance to recognize and celebrate our oneness with Spirit, each other and our world. You will have the opportunity to submit individual names for prayer on Sunday, September 5 or you can leave a prayer request by email or phone.
I hope you will take many opportunities during the day to close your eyes and affirm with us: “We are living expressions of Divine light flowing forth into the world.”

Disaster Preparedness Training Seminar
Sunday, September 19th from 12:30 – 2:30 Facilitator: Joy Lasseter, Ph.D
Suggested Donation: $25.00 per person or family. ($5.00 covers handouts & the remainder supports of our church, but no one will be turned away for inability to pay.

A disaster overwhelms our local fire, police and medical responders. It is prepared citizens who save lives in the first hours afterwards. Learn what food and medical supplies you need to have on hand, how to organize your neighborhood before the emergency and how to respond afterwards. I will teach practical and safe food and water storage. You will get lists of things you need but you must sign up in advance for your handouts!
