First Sunday of the Month is:
Prayer Request Sunday, so be thinking of who you would like to add to the Prayer Box. Our prayer team prays over them for a month, and then we send them to Silent Unity for another month of prayers. You can always request prayer support through our Prayer Ministry on the website here.

Second Sunday of the Month is:
Prosperity Banks Sunday. Please remember to bring your pocket change.

NEW Beacons of Light Fund Raiser – now through December
Our Beacons of Light Fund Raiser is back with a change. This fund raiser honors those who have been a Light in our lives. You may give in honor of someone living, or in memory of someone who has transitioned. The suggested donation is $10 per name honored.  The name(s) of your beacon of light will be listed in the Christmas program.

In previous years, we used the money to cover the cost of the lights for the church building. This year, in light of the cuts to social services, the Board voted to share Unity of Vancouver’s Light in our community by donating money raised to SHARE.  Share is a wonderful local nonprofit that provides food, operates four shelters, provides rental assistance, and assists those unhoused or at risk of losing their home.

The fund raiser will run through December. You may submit your Beacons of Light names at the Sunday service or you may mail the Beacons of Light form with your donation check.  Click here for the form.  Please write checks to Unity of Vancouver with the memo “Beacons of Light.”  Mail your completed form and your check to Unity of Vancouver, PO Box 2411 Vancouver, WA 98668.
